INDIO, CA — “On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at approximately 11:22 p.m., Indio Police Department (IPD) officers responded to a report of a robbery at the AM/PM store located at 41910 Jackson Street. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a red Toyota Camry. Responding officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate the suspect vehicle.
The Indio Police Department Street Crimes Unit (SCU) assumed the investigation. SCU detectives conducted a follow-up investigation and were able to positively identify the suspect as Ramon Alexis Salazar, 34 years old, from the City of Coachella.
On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at approximately 8:35 p.m., Salazar was located and arrested in the City of Riverside. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for violation of 211 PC – Robbery.
