Juvenile Suspect Arrested in Tulare Homicide and Robbery Investigations
TULARE, CA — The Tulare Police Department has provided an update on the ongoing investigation into a homicide that occurred near the intersection of “F” Street and King Avenue on October 9, 2025.
Since the initial incident, members of the Investigations Division, Street Crimes Unit, and Evidence Technicians have conducted an investigation to identify and apprehend the person responsible. Through the processing of evidence, detectives were able to positively identify a suspect connected to the homicide and subsequently obtained a warrant for that individual.
On October 20, 2025, a separate robbery was reported in the 300 block of North West Street. The circumstances of the robbery were found to closely resemble those of the October 9 homicide. As the investigation progressed, detectives established a link between both incidents and identified the same individual, a male juvenile, as the suspect in both cases.
Members of the Investigations Division continued their work into the early hours of October 21, developing leads on the juvenile suspect’s location. On October 21, at approximately 2:43 p.m., detectives observed the suspect entering a vehicle. A traffic stop was initiated to take the suspect into custody. The suspect attempted to flee the vehicle on foot but was quickly apprehended after a brief pursuit.
The juvenile was taken into custody without further incident. Due to the suspect’s age, the identity is being withheld. Both the homicide and robbery investigations remain active as detectives continue to follow leads and gather additional evidence.
