Search Warrant Reportedly Leads to Two Arrests in Tesoro Viejo
TESORO VIEJO, CA — “On Thursday, October 9, shortly before 8:00 a.m., the Madera County Sheriff’s Office, with the support of the United States Marshals Service, executed a search warrant at a residence on Phillip Way in the community of Tesoro Viejo.
The operation targeted a wanted individual and potential firearms located at the residence. A male juvenile suspect was taken into custody without incident.
In addition, 35-year-old Elizabeth Green, a Madera resident, was arrested after MADSET (Madera County Special Enforcement Team) Detectives discovered evidence of identity theft during the investigation.
Due to the presence of firearms and the nature of the case, our regional SWAT team was deployed to ensure safety and provide tactical support. Out of an abundance of caution, a School Resource Deputy was stationed at nearby Hillside Elementary during the operation and the school was never in danger.
‘Operations like this demonstrate the importance of collaboration with our law enforcement partners at every level,’ said Sheriff Tyson Pogue. ‘The U.S. Marshals Service brings unmatched expertise to high-risk cases, and together we are enhancing public safety throughout Madera County.'”
