Bay Area Doctor Accused of Sexual Battery During Consultation
MILPITAS, CA — “On September 16, 2025, a prior sexual battery was reported to the Milpitas Police Department. The reporting party indicated Dr. Sanjay Agarwal inappropriately touched a female patient. Detectives investigated the accusation and determined Dr. Agarwal had inappropriately touched a patient during a consultation.
On September 24, 2025, detectives from the Criminal Investigations Bureau arrested Dr. Agarwal at his office in Milpitas. He was later booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail for sexual battery.
