Fairfield Juvenile Arrested for Illegal Possession of Loaded Gun
FAIRFIELD, CA — “On September 28 at 11:25 am, officers responded to a home in the 1100 block of Harding Street, where the homeowner advised they had seen, via Ring camera, two males approach their residence, with one pulling out what appeared to be a handgun.
The caller advised the males left and headed northbound, away from the residence.
An area check was conducted, and two juveniles matching the description provided by the caller were located at the park on the corner of Utah and Hayes.
One male advised he had a magazine for a firearm in his pocket. An article search by K9 Drako discovered a gun hidden away in a nearby garbage can.
The firearm had one round in the chamber, but no magazine.
The minor in possession of the magazine, and identified on camera as being in possession of the weapon, was booked into Juvenile Hall. The other juvenile was released to a parent.”
