Madera Police Arrest Two People in Separate DUI Cases
MADERA, CA — “Over the weekend, Madera Police officers made a couple of notable DUI arrests that highlight the continued need for responsible driving.
On Saturday morning, as seen in the video Officer McCool observed a vehicle idled at a stoplight in the wrong lane of travel near the 1900 block of W. Cleveland Ave. The driver, Victor Jimenez (22), displayed clear signs of alcohol intoxication. A DUI investigation revealed Victor’s blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was over three times the legal limit of 0.08%. He was placed under arrest and later booked into Madera County Jail.
Tonight, FTO Amezola and Officer Maravilla conducted a traffic stop near E. 7th Street and S. Lake Street. The driver, Manuel Nunez (27), also showed signs of impairment. A DUI investigation confirmed his BAC was more than twice the legal limit. Manuel was also arrested and booked into Madera County Jail.”
