SUMMARY: ON 08/26/2025 around 2204 hours, a Corning Police Officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle for a moving violation. The Officer contacted the driver and occupants; the Officer recognized the rear passenger as Daniel Hernandez Venegas of Corning. The Officer was aware that Daniel had an active Felony arrest warrant. Daniel was placed under arrest for his warrant. During a search of the vehicle a loaded stolen firearm was located near Daniel’s seat. Daniel was transported to the Tehama County Jail and booked for the above listed charges.
