Fresno Police: Man Arrested After Being Caught Driving with Open Alcohol Bottle, Illegal Guns
FRESNO, CA — “Northwest District Safety Team (DST) officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop for multiple vehicle code violations in the area of Shields Avenue and Valentine Avenue. The driver was found to have an open container of alcohol.
During a search of his vehicle, officers located two firearms: one which was reported stolen out of state and one was a privately manufactured firearm. Officers also located an auto-switch (sear) and ammunition. All were concealed within the vehicle.
The driver was placed under arrest, and his vehicle was towed. He was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail.”
