Redding Man Arrested in Connection with Ongoing Fentanyl Distribution Investigation

REDDING, CA — “Over the past several months, the Redding Police Department’s Neighborhood Police Unit (NPU) conducted an investigation into Brandon Foreman, also known as “Brandon Hayward,” regarding his involvement in the distribution of large quantities of fentanyl throughout the Redding area.

On August 23, 2025, while conducting surveillance, NPU officers located Foreman returning from the Bay Area (Oakland) in a rental car on Highway 273 in Redding. A search warrant was executed on Foreman and the vehicle, resulting in the discovery of more than two ounces of fentanyl, and nearly two hundred Xanax pills. Foreman was taken into custody for possession of controlled substances for the purpose of sales.

Following his arrest, officers executed a second search warrant at Foreman’s residence in the 18000 block of Redding Rancheria Road. Inside his residence, officers located evidence consistent with narcotics trafficking, including several digital scales, additional controlled substances, packaging material, a loaded pistol, ammunition, and several hundred thousand dollars in US currency.

Foreman was booked into the Shasta County Jail on multiple charges related to the transportation and possession of controlled substances for sale.”
