SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA — “On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Central Division Patrol Deputies responded to a shooting near Stockton Boulevard and Gerber Road in South Sacramento, where a juvenile male had been shot in the torso.

When they arrived on scene, they administered first aid, and the victim was transported to the hospital, where he is expected to recover.
Deputies located a Toyota sedan nearby, matching the description of the suspect vehicle.
Deputies conducted a vehicle stop and detained an adult male, a juvenile male, and a juvenile female.
A search revealed several loaded firearms, extended magazines, ammunition, and narcotics.
Through their investigation, they learned all three conspired to locate the victim and shoot him down.
All three were taken into custody between Sacramento County Main Jail and Juvenile Hall for multiple felonies, including attempted murder, and currently remain in custody.
While the two juveniles cannot be publicly identified and court information is not readily available from the Juvenile Courts, 22-year-old Cergio Otterbravo is scheduled to appear in court August 26.
