Bonnie & Clyde Wannabes Caught after South Sacramento Robbery
SOUTH SACRAMENTO, CA — “Just after midnight on August 21, 2025, two suspects, later identified as 30-year-old Brian Ruvalcabadiaz and 24-year-old Serena Kumiko Lee, approached a vehicle and demanded money from the driver at gunpoint.

The victim gave them money, and both suspects fled in a vehicle.
Less than half an hour later, Central Division Patrol Deputies located the vehicle nearby and detained both suspects.
A search revealed an unregistered firearm along with narcotics.
Both were arrested for multiple felonies and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail, where they remain on $50,000 bail. They are scheduled to appear in court on August 25.
