Shoplifting Suspects Arrested After Muluti-Agency Pursuit
FOLSOM, CA — “On Thursday, August 14, alert officers patrolling the Folsom Premium Outlets observed suspicious activity in the parking lot that led them to believe three individuals — two males and one female — had been shoplifting from the Nike store.
As officers began investigating, the suspects fled the area and entered a nearby restaurant.
When the trio noticed police nearby, they ran from the restaurant, jumped into a BMW, and sped off.
A pursuit began and headed onto Highway 50 toward Sacramento but was called off when it became unsafe.
A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert was issued, and thanks to the quick response from the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, Sacramento Police Air Unit, and California Highway Patrol, the vehicle was spotted again.
After a second pursuit, the vehicle stopped on the 5800 block of Hamilton St. in Sacramento, where all three suspects tried to flee but were successfully apprehended.
