Two Arrested in Connection with Multiple Thefts and Burglaries in Colusa County

COLUSA, CA — “On 6/25/2025 at approximately 11:30 pm, Colusa Police Department Officers contacted 3 individuals near Main Street and 9th Street. During the contact, several items of suspected stolen property were located. A majority of these items were vehicle key-fabs and other miscellaneous keys. Austin Mitchell (24) and Erika Antrobus (30), both of Colusa, were subsequently arrested for a single count of possession of stolen property. Mitchell was additionally arrested on a weapons-related charge. Both were booked into the Colusa County Jail.

A subsequent collaborative investigation with Williams Police Department and Colusa County Sheriff’s Office Task Force revealed additional theft related crimes such as stolen vehicles and burglaries, Mitchell and Atrobus were responsible for in both the City of Colusa and the City of Williams, including multiple vehicle burglaries in the Country Club Drive area.

On 6/27/2025 at approximately 5:15 pm, a search warrant was executed at Antrobus and Mitchell’s residence located in the 1400 block of Wescott Road. Additional evidence was located and seized. Mitchell and Antrobus were arrested on additional charges associated with the Colusa thefts as well as arrest warrants issued in conjunction with the thefts in the City of Williams. Both were booked into the Colusa County Jail a second time.
