Del Norte County Man Arrested After Police Allegedly Catch Him with Stolen Access Cards & Meth

CRESCENT CITY, CA — A Del Norte County man was arrested after police allegedly found narcotics and stolen cards on him while responding to a report of an altercation.

According to a press release by the Crescent City Police Department officers responded to a report of a verbal altercation near 3rd Street and L Street on Thursday, July 24. At the scene, officers contacted three individuals engaged in a heated argument.

Officers reportedly identified one of these individuals as Jethro Lloyd, 53. Records show that Lloyd has been arrested in Del Norte County multiple times over the years.

Following an investigation, Lloyd was arrested on suspicion of stalking.

During a search in connection with the arrest, officers reported finding a bank bag containing nearly 30 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Lloyd was also allegedly found to be in possession of suspected stolen access and debit cards.

Lloyd was transported and booked into the Del Norte County jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of sales, transportation of a controlled substance for sales, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia.
