Law enforcement officials in Sacramento busted an illegal gambling operation on Florinroad.
On July 23, with the assistance of the Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Detail (SED/SWAT), the Sheriff’s Central Division Problem-Oriented Policing (POP) team executed a search warrant at a residential property on the 9000 block of Florin Road, regarding an illegal gambling operation.
The search resulted in three felony arrests, one misdemeanor arrest and two citations for misdemeanor narcotics possession.
Deputies recovered a loaded unserialized handgun (often referred to as a “ghost gun”) and approximately $2000 in cash.
The following individuals were arrested:
*Ervin Durham, 45 years old, arrested for possession of a firearm and controlled substance and carrying a weapon in a public place.
*Ryk Hayward, 57 years old, arrested for bookmaking
*Rafael Diaz Ayon, 31 years old, arrested for an out-of-county felony warrant
*Richard Alfaro, 48 years old, arrested for misdemeanor warrants
*Eduardo Lucio Maldonado, 48 years old, cited for possession
*Rosalina Velasco, 56 years old, cited for warrants hold and possession
