Felony Warrant Arrest Leads to Seizure of Suspected Fentanyl and Heroin in Imperial County
EL CENTRO, CA — ”Last night, our Night Shift Officers recognized and contacted a subject known to have an active felony warrant. The suspect was safely detained, and the warrant was confirmed.
During the search incident to arrest, officers located:
29.1 grams of suspected fentanyl
12.8 grams of suspected heroin
Narcotic paraphernalia
Digital Scale.
The suspect was booked into Imperial County Jail for the felony warrant, along with possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
This marks patrol’s third arrest of a suspected drug dealer in just two weeks. We’re proud of our officers’ continued efforts in keeping these dangerous substances off our streets and protecting our community.”
