Fairfield: Two Arrested After Hotel Employee Locked in Office
FAIRFIELD, CA — “On July 5 at 12:21 pm, Officers Reyna and Brownridge responded to Motel 6 on Holiday Lane following a report that an employee had been locked in her office by two men demanding their security deposit back. The suspects left before police arrived, but the officers’ subsequent search led them to Raley’s, where they located and arrested 31-year-old Stuart Parish and 62-year-old Gleen Dunn.
Further investigation revealed that Dunn also matched the description of the suspect from an incident that occurred at Food Maxx on the 4th of July.
On that date, at 6:16 pm, officers were dispatched to Food Maxx for a suspect physically fighting with employees after he was asked to stop consuming food in the store. While officers were enroute, dispatch advised an employee had been stabbed.
Initial responding officers applied treated the victims for a stab wound before he was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
During his arrest on the 5th, Dunn was wearing the same clothing and a distinctive earring worn by the suspect in the July 4th incident. He was also found in possession of a large dirk/dagger.”
