BRENTWOOD, CA — Three suspects were arrested, and one woman remains in custody in
connection with a shooting incident.
Aniya S. Henry, 43, of Oakley remains in custody at the West County Detention Facility in lieu of $200,000 bond.
Brentwood officers responded to a reported shooting on July 7 shortly before 11:30 p.m. The
victim was driving near Lone Tree Way and Jeffrey Way, when the driver in front of him shot at
him.
Brentwood police said in a prepared statement, “The male victim told officers the (suspect)
brandished a handgun and fired a shot. Thankfully, the victim was not hit or injured.”
Shortly after the incident, an Oakley officer stopped the vehicle involved. Henry and one other
suspect were detained and arrested. Henry was booked for:
* Assault with a firearm on a person
* Carrying a loaded firearm
* Carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle
* Conspiracy to commit a crime
The second suspect Gus Wayne, 21, of Oakley, is no longer in custody. Wayne was booked
at the Martinez Detention for the following charges:
* Assault with a firearm on a person
* Carrying a loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony
* Carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle
* Conspiracy to commit a crime
A third person Daezhara M. Little, 24, of Antioch, was arrested for obstructing and delaying
officers on the scene.
“Little was determined to be uninvolved in the shooting,” according to
Brentwood police.
