Glenn County Authorities Seek Leads in Fatal Shooting in Hamilton City
HAMILTON CITY, CA — ” Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a fireworks stand on State Route 32 and Sacramento Avenue in Hamilton City Friday, July 4, 2025, at 6:38 p.m. for the report of five males in a physical disturbance. One male reportedly pulled a gun and shot one of the other males and fled the scene in a white Chevrolet pickup truck.
Glenn County Sheriff’s deputies and officers from CHP and Orland Police immediately responded to the scene and searched for the suspect. Deputies found a 35-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services responded and transported the man to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries. The suspect was not located after a thorough search of the area.
