NOVATO — Tammy A. Manzanilla, a 54-year-old resident of Novato, seems to constantly be in trouble
with the law.
According to a records search, Manzanilla has been arrested well over 80 times in Marin County since 2013, including
most recently on June 28. Her rap sheet includes arrests for drugs, burglaries, battery,
among other offenses.
Her most recent troubles began when a suspected intoxicated driver was reported to Novato
police on June 28 at 8:43 a.m.
The erratic driver was observed near a supermarket at Redwood Boulevard and DeLong Avenue.
Officers stopped Manzanilla, near the intersection of South Novato Boulevard and Sunset Parkway.
“Manzanilla displayed signs of impairment,” Novato police said in a prepared statement. “After
failing field sobriety tests, Manzanilla was placed under arrest.”
She was transported and booked into Marin County Jail, which is like a second home for her.
This time Manzanilla was booked for driving with a license suspended for a DUI conviction.
She was also booked for possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a
controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
She has since been released from custody—again.
Most of Manzanilla’s previous arrests have involved controlled substances, public intoxication,
and possession of drug paraphernalia.
However, a few of her prior arrests involved more serious crimes including grand thefts, and
theft of a motor vehicle.
Manzanilla was arrested in connection with burglaries in 2018, 2021 and 2022. She was arrested multiple times for battery in 2024.
