Stockton Man Arrested in Connection with East Main Street Fire
STOCKTON, CA — “On June 6, 2025, the Stockton Police Department responded to assist the Stockton Fire Department with a large-scale, three-alarm structure fire that broke out in the 400 block of East Main Street, in downtown Stockton.
As flames engulfed the area and the fire continued burning into the night, Stockton Police officers assisted with securing the scene, managing road closures, and facilitating traffic control to ensure the safety of first responders and the public.
Due to the suspicious nature of the fire, detectives from the Stockton Police Department collaborated with the Stockton Fire Department’s arson investigators. Through coordinated efforts, investigators were able to identify the suspect as 37-year-old Lucio Carrillo of Stockton.
On June 19, 2025, investigators successfully located Carrillo within city limits. Stockton Police patrol officers responded and took Carrillo into custody without incident. He was subsequently transported to the San Joaquin County Jail, where he was booked on multiple charges, including arson and several unrelated outstanding warrants.”
