Davis Man Arrested for Fentanyl Sales and Illegal Firearms Possession Following Search Warrant
DAVIS, CA — ”On May 26, 2025, Detectives with the Intelligence Led Policing Unit arrested 65-year-old Davis resident, Howard Shaw, for possession of fentanyl for sale and a weapons charge. He was booked at the Yolo County Jail on those charges.
A follow up investigation was conducted which resulted in Detectives serving a search warrant at Shaw’s residence on June 3, 2025. Detectives recovered additional narcotics, ammunition and three firearms. One of the firearms was considered an “assault weapon” under California law. Shaw is prohibited by law from possessing ammunition or firearms. He was arrested for several firearms charges and booked at the Yolo County Jail.”
