Davis Driver Accused of DUI After Causing Rollover Crash

A Davis resident has been charged with felony drunk-driving after a collision on Yolo County Road 99 near the intersection of County Road 25A in the countryside between Woodland and Davis.

According to the California Highway Patrol, 65-year-old, Alan Brooker was driving his 2014 Bentley CT erratically southbound along Road 99. The luxury car then crossed the center lane marker into the path of a northbound Ford truck. At approximately 8:45 pm, Brooker’s Bentley smashed into the Ford’s rear left fender.

The force of the collision sent the Ford swerving out of control. It rolled over once. The driver, Rafael De Los Santos, 47, and his son, Ivan De Los Santos, were both only slightly wounded. Brooker drove on down Road 99 another quarter mile before finally halting his vehicle, stated CHP spokesman Sgt. Brian Konvalin.

When CHP officers arrived and contacted Brooker, they smelled alcohol, administered a breathalyzer test, and arrested him for DUI. He was booked into Yolo County Jail and release on bail a short time later.
