Carlsbad PD’s Vice & Narcotics Intelligence Unit Uncovers Major Drug Trafficking Operation

A recent case that began as a drug sales investigation in Carlsbad eventually uncovered a much broader narcotics operation. The case led to the arrest of several individuals involved in large-scale drug distribution across San Diego County. Through their skilled investigative work and a firm commitment to getting drugs off the street, the team carried out two major narcotics seizures. Their impact goes well beyond Carlsbad, helping protect communities throughout the region.

•458 grams of “Tuci” (a pink cocaine/MDMA mix)
•1,914 Adderall pills
•1,217 Ecstasy pills
•360 grams of psilocybin (hallucinogenic mushrooms)
•368 grams of cocaine
•244 grams of ketamine
•243 tabs of LSD
•$10,879 in U.S. currency
•A red Corvette seized as evidence”
