LIVERMORE. CA — Police recovered stolen credit cards from a vehicle burglary suspect tracked
from Livermore to San Jose.
Kennith B. Robson, 35, of Modesto, was arrested on suspicion of burglary and fraudulent use of credit cards. Robson is a repeat offender.
Robson allegedly committed his most recent crime on May 6.
The victim was inside a Starbucks coffeeshop on Vasco Road, when their vehicle was burglarized. Their backpack
was stolen containing their wallet, a cell phone, and other electronics.
The burglary happened at approximately 6:15 a.m. Witnesses told the police they saw the
suspect break into the victim’s vehicle, and steal the backpack. They also provided a
description of the suspect’s getaway car.
Investigators soon learned the suspect used the victim’s credit card at a gas station in
Livermore. Later the same day, Livermore police found the suspect’s vehicle in San Jose.
With assistance from San Jose PD, Livermore police searched a residence.
Inside, officers found the coffeeshop victim’s stolen property, Livermore police said in a
prepared statement.
“They also found numerous other credit cards believed stolen in other vehicle burglaries across multiple jurisdictions.”
Robson is no longer in custody, but his case has been presented to the Alameda County
District Attorney’s Office to review charges.
“Robson has an extensive criminal history involving theft and vehicle burglaries.”
He has 10 prior arrests on his record in Stanislaus County since 2017.
