Merced: Homicide Investigation Underway After Fatal Shooting on Buena Vista Drive
“On May 9, 2025, at approximately 11:13 PM, officers with the Merced Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 800 block of Buena Vista Dr. in the city of Merced regarding a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers located a male subject suffering from a gunshot wound.
Merced Police officers immediately rendered life-saving aid; however, the victim tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
