Two Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Vehicles from Mount Shasta Area Construction Yard

MOUNT SHASTA, CA — Authorities in Siskiyou County have reportedly arrested two individuals for the alleged theft of three vehicles from a construction yard.
According to a press release by the Mount Shasta division of the California Highway Patrol, three construction vehicles were reported stolen from the Rolling Rock Construction yard in Mount Shasta on the morning of Monday, March 5.
The victim was actively monitoring the vehicles through GPS tracking, authorities said.
Mount Shasta and Redding CHP patrol units located the vehicles at two separate locations in Shasta County. Three individuals were detained without incident. The Northern Division Investigative Services Unit responded and assumed the investigation.
The suspects, whose names have not been released, were booked into the Shasta County jail on charges of auto theft and conspiracy.
All three vehicles, valued at more than $100,000 combined, were recovered.
Investigators also allege that the suspects had attempted to steal a fourth vehicle and had vandalized it at the original location.
