Man Wanted on Felony Warrant Arrested for Alleged Possession of Meth with Intent to Sell

LOS ALTOS, CA — A man wanted on a felony warrant was arrested for the alleged possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell.
According to a press release by the Los Altos Police Department, officers pulled over a vehicle near El Monte Avenue and Foothill Expressway in the early morning hours of Friday, May 2.
The driver, identified as a 48-year-old man from San Jose, was discovered to have an active felony warrant for his arrest out of San Jose, police said.
Police searched the vehicle and reportedly discovered “a large quantity” of suspected methamphetamine, a memo book containing phone numbers, a mobile phone, and “additional controlled substances.” They reportedly also found about $2,900 in cash.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of the possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell and possession of a controlled substance, and in connection with the outstanding felony warrant.
The individual’s name was not publicly disclosed.
