2 Arrested & Drugs Recovered – Thanks to Technology & K9 Officer
ELK GROVE, CA — “Officers searching the area near Elk Grove Florin Road and Silverberry Avenue for a stolen vehicle yesterday. With the assistance of our Real Time Center and a drone overhead, the stolen vehicle was quickly located. The driver took off running into a nearby apartment complex while the passenger was detained at the scene. With the help of one of our K9s, the driver was taken into custody.
In addition to recovering the stolen vehicle, officers seized three-quarters of an ounce of cocaine, over three ounces of methamphetamine, and a little over two ounces of crack cocaine.
58-year-old Christopher Coleman and 23-year-old Joseph Weatherspoon were arrested on multiple charges and booked at the Main Jail.”
