Two Suspects Arrested Following Late-Night Shooting in Visalia
VISALIA, CA –– “Just before midnight, Visalia Police officers heard multiple gunshots near their District 1 substation on NW 3rd Street. A white Tesla was spotted speeding away from the area and was stopped shortly after. Inside were four individuals who reported they had just been shot at. Officers confirmed the vehicle had been struck multiple times by gunfire but thankfully, no one was injured.
The victims said the shots were fired by suspects on foot near the 200 block of NW 2nd Street. Officers responded to that location, secured the scene, and detained several individuals.
As a result, 19-year-old David Cazares and 57-year-old Jaime Ramirez were taken into custody for attempted homicide.
