Two Arrested for Drug and Weapons Charges at Jackson Rancheria Casino

JACKSON, CA — ”On April 8th, at approximately 1200 hours, the Sheriff’s Office was contacted by Jackson Rancheria Casino and Hotel Security regarding hotel staff finding suspected drugs in one of their rooms. Sheriff’s Personnel responded to the hotel and discovered two males checked out of the room prior to our arrival.
While processing the suspected drugs, Casino Security notified Sheriff’s Personnel that the males returned to the parking garage of the casino. The males were stopped as they attempted to leave the casino and placed under arrest for drug related charges. Additional baggies of drugs, along with paraphernalia indicative of sales, were located during a search of the vehicle.
Two firearms, one that had previously been reported as stolen, were also located in the vehicle. Nearly one pound of suspected methamphetamine was found in total. Both males, from Southern California, were booked on multiple drug and weapons related charges.”
