Suspect Arrested Following Stabbing at Homeless Encampment Near Dinuba
“UPDATE: Man stabbed in Tulare County homeless encampment
On 3/1/25, Patrol Deputies responded to a homeless encampment outside of Dinuba for a stabbing that occurred.
The victim walked to the City of Dinuba to find a phone to call 911 and Dinuba Police Department responded. After learning where the crime took place, the investigation was taken over by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies learned an argument ensued in the encampment and the suspect, Jose Jimenez, grabbed a kitchen steak knife and attempted to stab the victim in the head. When the victim blocked the knife, he sustained a deep laceration to his right arm which required treatment at a local hospital.
Jimenez was later located and arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. After treatment from a local hospital, the victim was later released.
