Woman Arrested for Multiple Assaults and Vehicle Ramming Incidents in Marina
MARINA, CA — “On 2/7/25 at 9:38 am, Elizabeth Beal, went to a local school on Lake Dr and used an object to break the window to a parked vehicle. Beal fled in her vehicle and was not immediately located. A license plate for Beal’s vehicle was obtained through this investigation.
Then at 10:18 am, Marina Police received a call in the 3300 block of De Forest Rd of an incident where a vehicle rammed the reporting party. The vehicle was confirmed to be the same vehicle that Beal seen fleeing in. Beal rammed the victim’s vehicle three times before fleeing. A short time later, another victim called 911 reporting Beal rammed their vehicle three times in the area of De Forest Rd and Reservation Rd before fleeing again. Both vehicles were occupied at the time of the assault.
Later, at 10:42 am, a 911 caller reported a possible hit & run and the victim vehicle was now on fire in the 200 block of Reservation Rd. It was quickly determined to be the same suspect vehicle being driven by Beal that purposely rammed this victim two times before fleeing. The force of the collision caused vehicle to catch fire. The occupant was able to get out of the vehicle on their own before the vehicle became engulfed in flames.
A ”Be on the Lookout” was broadcasted to all law enforcement agencies in Monterey County. Beal was located by the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department on Carmel Valley Rd, near Rancho San Carlos Rd and detained. Beal was turned over to Marina Police and was later booked into the Monterey County Jail. Thankfully no one was injured in any of these incidents.
