Man with Warrants Reportedly Arrested After High-Speed Pursuit in Yuba County

MARYSVILLE, CA — “At approximately 10:45 a.m. today, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Woodland Drive at North Beale Road, near Yuba Community College. The driver, 41-year-old Tou Lee Her, had several active arrest warrants and refused to pull over, leading deputies on a pursuit that spanned over 11 miles and reached speeds above 90 mph. Deputies successfully deployed spike strips, which disabled the vehicle. Her tried to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended and taken into custody without further incident.
Her is being booked at the Yuba County Jail for his warrants and fresh charges of 2800.2 (a) VC (felony evading), 207 (a) PC (kidnapping-by not allowing his passenger to safely exit the vehicle), 273.6 (a) PC (violation of court order), 148 (a) (1) PC (resisting arrest), and 11364 (a) H&S (possession of drug paraphernalia).”
