“During a call for service, North Patrol Deputies contacted two individuals who initially provided false identities. Upon further investigation, deputies identified the subjects as William Soto and April Merrill-Peck. A records check revealed that both Soto and Merrill-Peck had felony warrants out of Placer County.

An inventory of their motor home revealed a sawed-off shotgun and a loaded revolver. In addition to the firearms, Deputies located 1/4 pound of fentanyl and multiple scales.

Both subjects were transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail and booked.”
