Human Trafficking Operation leads to 27 Arrests

“On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau conducted a Human Trafficking operation targeting sex buyers.

During the operation, 27 sex buyers were arrested. Of the arrested suspects, was an individual on parole with a prior conviction for child molestation, as well as a commercial truck driver still in his big rig.

Some of these buyers bargained with undercover deputies, proposing money, narcotics, and even a chicken sandwich.

Additionally, 22 vehicles were towed, including the commercial big rig filled with… tapioca pudding.
