The Galt Police Department took one more gun off of the streets in their story release on their official Facebook page-
“On 07/25/2020, at approximately 2117 hours, Galt PD Officers were dispatched to a report of a suspicious male subject who was heard loading a firearm in the area of Lanigan Ct/Cedar Flat Way. Officers arrived in the area and located a male matching the suspect description.
An officer located the male and as they approached the male suspect, he threw an object over a nearby fence. K-9 Kane conducted an article search and located a loaded .380 semi-automatic pistol in the backyard of a residence.
The male suspect, identified as Miguel Vidauri, was found to have an additional 9mm pistol magazine in his pocket and approximately 1.4 grams of suspected methamphetamine, which he attempted to conceal and destroy.
Vidauri was placed under arrest for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a loaded firearm with intent to commit a felony, possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, committing a crime while released on bail, and criminal threats. He was transported to Sacramento County Main Jail without incident.”
