Parolee arrested for Drug Violation in El Dorado County

“On February 29th, 2024, the Placerville Police Department dispatch received a report regarding James Ginochio, a parolee at large, being spotted on Broadway Drive.

A solo officer from the PPD arrived in the vicinity at approximately 11:00 hours and spotted Ginochio walking on Broadway Drive. When the officer attempted to approach Ginochio, he fled on foot. Additional officers reached the scene within minutes.

Following a pursuit spanning approximately 150-200 yards, Ginochio was apprehended without further incident. Upon his arrest, a suspected methamphetamine pipe was found in Ginochio’s possession.

Ginochio was subsequently booked into the El Dorado County Jail on charges including felony parole violation (3056), resisting an officer (148(a)(1) PC), and possession of drug paraphernalia (11364(A)(1) HS).”
