Placerville, CA —
On the morning of September 7, around 6:30 a.m. CHP of Placerville found a female suffering from a gunshot wound, in a Chevrolet truck along eastbound Hwy 50 near Camino.
Officers were initially responding to a call of a disabled vehicle and found the victim dead at the scene.
CHP officers arrested a 38-year-old Scott M. Boyles, from Sacramento, in connection with the homicide, officials said. The suspect was reportedly taken into custody without incident.
