Suspect Arrested in Relation to Jewelry Store Robbery

“On 2/5/24 just after 3:30am, an unknown suspect smashed the doors into a business in the 6100 block of Sunrise Blvd, smashed jewelry cases inside, & took over $200k in jewelry. Officers & CSI responded to the scene. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified. On 2/21/24, 52 year old Edward Rushing was arrested & charged with felony burglary, grand theft, & conspiracy. This investigation is still ongoing.
