Weed Police Reportedly Find 20 Lbs. of Suspected Narcotics During Traffic Stop

“On Wednesday, 12/20/2023, at approximately 0130 hours, a Weed Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, approximately 20 pounds of narcotics wrapped as Christmas presents and two unregistered firearms were located.

The male driver, 48yo from Stockton, and female passenger, 33yo from Woodbridge, were subsequently placed under arrest for violations of 11377(a) H&S, 11378(a) H&S, 11352(a) H&S, 11370.1 H&S, and 25860(c)(6) PC.

The Weed Police Department would like to thank members of the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office, California Highway Patrol and Mount Shasta Police Department for their assistance.”
