On Sunday, November 12th, at about 5pm, HPD dispatch received multiple 911 calls reporting a vehicle colliding into multiple parked vehicles in downtown Healdsburg.
The driver failed to stop and continued driving south, prompting additional calls. HPD officers responded and located the suspect and vehicle in the 200 block of Bailhache Av.
45-year-old Juan Salazarmerino of Healdsburg was arrested and booked in the Sonoma County Jail on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and hit and run. It was determined that he was operating a vehicle over 3.5 times the legal limit.
