Two Arrested for Alleged Grand Theft in Davis

On 11/3 at about 10:24 a.m., Davis PD responded to the report of an assault at the Rite Aid (655 Russell Blvd). The victim reported that his e-bicycle had been stolen on campus a short time prior. The victim had the ability to track his bike, which led him to the Rite Aid. He was able to locate his bike in a car. When he confronted the occupants, they drove away, striking him with their vehicle. The victim was not injured.

During a subsequent investigation, officers were able to determine the e-bike was at a residence in Woodland (400 block of Elizabeth St in Woodland). Officers served a search warrant at the address and located the stolen e-bike, narcotics and the suspects.

The e-bike was returned to the victim.

Royce Allan Johannes, 31, of Temecula, was arrested for conspiracy, possession of stolen property, grand theft and robbery.

Miles Stephen Simon, 37, of Woodland, was arrested for conspiracy, burglary, robbery, grand theft, possession of stolen property, possession of a narcotics, and assault with a deadly weapon.

They were both booked at the Yolo County Jail.
