Burglary Suspect Apprehended Following Business Break-In

“Early this morning, officers were dispatched to the 300 blk of W. Grand Ave for an alarm at a business. Officers arrived and found the glass front door shattered. They entered the building and did not locate anyone inside.

Officer’s obtained video surveillance from the business showing the individual that had forced entry through the door. A short time later, while driving in the city, the Sergeant saw an individual near Vons who matched the person seen in the video.

Additional officers responded and after their investigation, took the suspect into custody for burglary without incident. 40 year-old Darrell Friday of Los Osos was transported and booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail.
