Suspect Arrested in Connection with Knoch Avenue Shooting in Susanville

The Susanville Police Department has announced the arrest of a primary suspect in connection with a shooting on Knoch Avenue in early September.

According to a press release, on the morning of Monday, September 18, officers received information concerning a person of interest wanted in connection with a shooting incident that occurred at a residence on Knoch Avenue on September 1.

Officers responded to Limoneria Avenue, where they located and apprehended the individual in question, identified as Nicholas James Judlin, 20, of Susanville. Judlin was arrested without incident.

Following his arrest, Judlin was booked at the Lassen County jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. The investigation is ongoing and remains active.

It was unclear at press time whether Judlin had retained an attorney. Any person arrested on suspicion of a crime is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
