Authorities have apprehended two individuals believed to be responsible for a string of armed robberies that occurred in central California earlier this year. The robberies took place on April 13 between 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in the towns of Richgrove, McFarland, Delano, and Earlimart.

According to a press release by the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, detectives identified the suspects as Jarell Agbalog and Saul Ochoa, both age 20 and both residents of Delano. The investigation led them to a white GMC Sierra truck located in Bakersfield on June 27. The discovery of the truck provided a key breakthrough in the case.

On July 3, the Sheriff’s Office executed six residential search warrants in Delano, targeting properties associated with the suspects and their alleged gang affiliations. During the operation, Saul Ochoa was reportedly spotted driving in the area and subsequently taken into custody.

Detectives reportedly seized an unregistered carbine rifle, ammunition, and multiple magazines during the arrest.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s CATTCH Unit then conducted surveillance in Delano, resulting in the arrest of Jarell Agbalog on a later date. Agbalog was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities are urging anyone with additional information about the case to come forward. General Investigations Sergeant Daniel Balderas and Detective Corey Sailer can be reached at the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office through the phone number (559) 733-6218. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted via the Sheriff’s TipNow Program at (559) 725-4194 or tcso@tipnow.com.

The suspects remain in custody on charges related to armed robbery and other alleged offenses.
