Two credit unions in Brentwood and Antioch were targeted by a female suspect in separate robbery incidents earlier this week. The Brentwood Police Department and Antioch Police Department are currently investigating the cases.

According to a press release by the Brentwood Police Department, officers from the Brentwood PD responded to a silent hold-up alarm at the Patelco Credit Union on the 5600 block of Lone Tree Way on the afternoon of June 26. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the suspect, described as a female adult of Hispanic ethnicity, had allegedly passed a note to a bank teller, demanding money. The suspect then fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed sum of money.

No one was physically harmed during the incident, police said.

Later that day, just before 4 PM, the APD received a similar silent hold-up alarm at the Travis Credit Union on the 2700 block of Lone Tree Way. The description of the suspect in the second case was similar to the first — a Hispanic adult female in her early to mid-twenties with brown hair, standing approximately 5’3″ to 5’5″, who had once again passed a note demanding money to the bank teller. She escaped the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Reports indicate that the suspect may have fled in a gray four-door Honda or Nissan with tinted windows.

Authorities have confirmed that the two robberies were committed by the same female suspect, who changed her clothing between the incidents. While no physical injuries were reported during either incident, the suspect should not be approached if seen.

The Brentwood PD Detective Agostinho can be reached at 925-809-7870, and the APD Investigations Division can be contacted at 925-779-6926 for any information related to the suspect or the suspect vehicle. Callers can choose to remain anonymous.

The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement agencies are urging the public’s cooperation in providing any relevant information that may aid in the identification and apprehension of the suspect.
