Walnut Creek Actress Arrested on Suspicion of Assault

Walnut Creek police arrested the woman who played Pippi Longstocking in a 1988 film on suspicion of assault Thursday, according to the celebrity gossip site TMZ.

Tami Erin, who starred in The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking, got into a fight with her male roommate and was placed under citizen’s arrest by a neighbor until officers took her into custody, according to TMZ. She was released Friday.
