“Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives have dedicated all available resources to investigate the circumstances surrounding yesterday morning’s homicide, and collaborated with allied agencies throughout the state to locate the wanted suspect, Francisco Trejo Ramirez.
On the evening of June 18, Federal law enforcement officials identified a Toyota Tacoma driven by an adult male, both of which matched the description of the BOL issued by MCSO. After obtaining a positive identification confirming the subject was Francisco Trejo Ramirez, officials took him into custody.
Madera County Sheriff’s Detectives traveled to the location and have taken custody of Ramirez. He will now be transported and booked in at the Madera County Jail for felony first degree murder.
The two deceased victims in this case have been identified as 33 year old Jesus Gil, and his father, 60 year old Jesus Gil Espinoza. The living victim is a male juvenile, whose name will not be released.
The Madera County Sheriff’s Office would like to extend our gratitude to Homeland Security Investigators and the Madera County District Attorney’s Office for their collaboration and professional courtesy throughout this investigation. We would also like to thank the multitude of law enforcement agencies who provided information and support in an effort to locate Trejo Ramirez. Los detectives del alguacil del condado de Madera han dedicado todos los recursos disponibles para investigar las circunstancias que rodearon el homicidio de ayer por la mañana y colaboraron con agencias aliadas en todo el estado para localizar al sospechoso buscado, Francisco Trejo Ramírez.
En la noche del 18 de junio, los agentes federales de la ley identificaron un Toyota Tacoma conducido por un hombre adulto, los cuales coincidían con la descripción del BOL emitido por MCSO. Después de obtener una identificación positiva que confirmara que el sujeto era Francisco Trejo Ramírez, los oficiales lo detuvieron.
Los detectives del alguacil del condado de Madera viajaron al lugar y tomaron la custodia de Ramírez. Ahora será transportado y registrado en la Cárcel del Condado de Madera por un delito grave de asesinato en primer grado.
