“On April 30th, 2023, at approximately 3:43 PM, Vallejo Police responded to a report of a shooting in the area of Sonoma Blvd. and Tennessee St.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local trauma center where he received medical attention, underwent surgery and is expected to survive.
Vallejo Police Department Patrol Officers were able to identify the suspect as Delano Bell out of Vallejo, CA as being responsible. Officers were able to locate Bell inside his vehicle and took him into custody without incident. Officers then searched the vehicle Bell was in and found a firearm.
Bell was booked into the Solano County Jail for numerous firearms charges and the assault on the victim.
